Our ‘rock’ is made to look and feel
real. They are moulded using a special Rockcoat finish – a mixture
of fine aggregate and epoxy resin. This makes an extremely hard wearing
rock-like texture and ensures it retains a top-quality friction surface,
resistant to premature ‘polishing’ associated with other
cheaper and more common resins. This sits on a strong and hard-wearing
structural steel framework. These rocks are hand made by experienced
climbers, so no two rocks are ever the same.
